Why choosing Emblema
Yes. Emblema specifically designs glasses for under-helmet use: you can wear them with your full-face, modular or jet helmet. The short ultra-flat temples reduce pressure on temples and ears, while improving comfort even during the longest journeys.
Traditional temples can create pressure points between the head and the helmet, thus causing discomfort just after a few miles. Emblema has patented short ultra-flat temples that keep the glasses comfortably snug, steady and in place. Furthermore, they avoid damage or wounds in case of impacts.
Sunglasses and prescription glasses
Yes. Our collections include both sunglasses and prescription glasses, both designed for a unique under-helmet experience and for spotless vision quality.
Yes. Most of the models can actually feature personalised graduated lenses, allowing motorcyclists to ride without having to choose between correction and comfort. For further info, please write an email to info@emblema.bike or fill out the contact form
Sure you can! Our glasses are designed for motorbike use, but all models can very well be worn for any daily activity, whether you are riding or not.
The choice could depend on your face’s shape or on your specific vision needs. Emblema makes eyeglasses and sunglasses of different shape and with different kind of lenses. For further info, please write an email to info@emblema.bike or fill out the contact form
Pupillary distance (PD) is the distance, in millimetres, between the centres of your two pupils. It is necessary for the correct positioning of your lenses.
You can find your PD on your prescription, or ask your optician to measure it.
If it is not indicated, you can also measure it at home using a ruler:
- stand in front of a mirror, about 20 cm away;
- align the 0 on the ruler with the centre of your left pupil;
- open your right eye and read the measurement at the centre of your right pupil;
- repeat the measurement to check the result.

Riding and wearing Emblema eyewear
Yes. All Emblema frames are designed to guarantee a comfortably snug fit under any kind of helmet. The combination between light materials and short ultra-flat temples keep the glasses in place during any journey. Furthermore, the temples’ tips are covered in Thermolast-K®, a material we use to provide comfort and grip even during prolonged wear in hot and humid conditions.
It depends on the lens type and on how you ride. Emblema has picked the Light Pro smoke brown semi-polarised lenses by Zeiss: an alternative solution which increases contrast and provides an optimal view of the street, while alleviating the troublesome glare caused by tarmac, vehicles and reflecting surfaces.
Thanks to a double anti-reflex coating, the Zeiss amber lenses for driving at night increase visibility in the dark. They are designed to provide a good vision in poor brightness conditions.
Wraparound, rectangular, panthos, rounded or teardrop shaped frames offer different style experiences, but they all guarantee under-helmet comfort thanks to the materials we pick and the short ultra-flat temples which are exclusive to our brand.
A 100% yes. Our glasses are designed for those who move on two-wheels every day whichever style they choose, be it urban commute or long journeys, Emblema offers constant comfort - even after several hours spent on the saddle.
Yes. The short ultra-flat temples of the Emblema glasses are conceived to both reduce under-helmet volume and avoid them to get stuck as a standard curved temple would risk to. In case of sudden impact, this characteristic also provides frame flexibility inside the helmet: the result being safety, on top of comfort.
The materials Emblema uses for its eyewear
We have picked AISI 301 steel for our glasses’ frames because it is a stainless metal, it is totally non-allergenic and bio-compatible, plus it guarantees lightness and great resilience. On top of this the galvanic coating is an additional treatment that allows us to enhance the aesthetics while providing an even higher biocompatibility on the skin.
Nylon-made lenses are six times more resistant to scratches and impacts compared to standard polycarbonate lenses. Emblema has chosen highly technological Zeiss nylon lenses so that every pair of glasses are comfortable, safe and provide a better vision.
For your extra protection, wear Emblema and keep your helmet’s visor down!
Product care
Before cleaning your glasses’ lenses, please make sure they have no dust or residue of any kind. Remove possible impurities by blowing on the lenses, then wash them with neutral soap and lukewarm water. Dry them with a soft cotton cloth, like the microfiber part of the orange Emblema cloth your glasses came with. Please do not use tissues, cloth made with wood fibers or abrasive detergent to clean your Emblema glasses.
The orange cloth that came with your glasses has two different sides: one is made of microfiber and it is made for cleaning your lenses safely and delicately. The other one is coated with anti-slip rubber which provides a firm grip during the cleaning process. The rubber side must not be used directly on the lenses as it could damage them: please use it only to hold your glasses steadily while cleaning the lenses.
Temple tips can lose grip in time, this can be caused by personal use or ride habits. If yours slip off when you clean your glasses or you feel them loose during use, you can purchase new ones in the Replacement page of this website.
Yes. We have developed our Clear Ride anti-fog kit, which includes a spray and three dry cloths, that helps preventing the lenses and the visor from fogging - even in the most extreme conditions. You could also find anti-fog coated lenses on the market, but in most cases these solutions are hardly permanent and the effect decreases in time. That is why Clear Ride can solve your problem and you can always carry it with you.
